Good News For US Citizens - Tourist Card No Longer Needed

Recent changes in travel requirements have now eliminated the need for U.S. Citizens to have a Tourist Card to travel to San Felipe and stay for the entire race. Good news for several of you who have already has some difficulties getting this card. Remember, this news doesn’t change the requirement to have a Passport or Passport Card. Make sure you read the most recent requirements on the U.S. Passport site. A link to Official Passport information is provided under the “Race” link. If you have any questions about Passport requirements make sure you get them answered prior to crossing the border.
